The app stores certain information locally on Your device so the app can function and preserve Your history. This may include saved reports, copies of source files attached to saved reports, reminder settings, language and theme preferences, and related app state. App-lock credentials and biometric preferences are stored using device-level secure storage made available by the operating system.
The app also uses third-party services that may generate or process technical, account, diagnostic, billing, or configuration data. This may include a unique Firebase Authentication identifier created for the app, crash diagnostics, remote configuration data, purchase metadata, and entitlement status.

Where applicable law treats blood test reports, health-profile data, and similar health-related information as sensitive or special-category data, We process that data primarily because You explicitly choose to provide it and request that the app analyze it for You.
The app uses Firebase AI Logic with Google Cloud Vertex AI Gemini models to generate analyses. When You request an analysis, the app may send to Google the files You select, any additional text You enter, Your completed health profile, and, where relevant, content from a prior report used for comparison or trend analysis.
Based on the current architecture of the app, VitalScope does not upload the selected source report files to its own servers for storage as part of this analysis flow. Saved reports and related source-file copies remain stored locally on Your device unless and until You delete them. VitalScope does not sell Your personal data and does not use Your uploaded data to train its own models.
Google states that customer data submitted to Vertex AI is not used to train Google's foundation models without Your permission or instruction. Google also states that inputs and outputs may be cached for up to 24 hours by default, and that in limited cases prompts and related data may be logged for abuse monitoring and policy enforcement and stored securely for up to 30 days.

Your information may be processed in the United States or in other countries where We or Our service providers operate. In particular, Firebase states that Firebase Authentication is processed only from US data centers. Where applicable law requires additional safeguards for international transfers, We will seek to rely on an appropriate transfer mechanism for the relevant transfer.
Reports, source-file copies, health-profile data, reminder settings, language and theme preferences, and related app state are generally kept on Your device until You delete them or remove the app. App-lock credentials and biometric preferences remain in secure storage until You remove them.
Support correspondence and privacy requests may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, document the issue, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Authentication records, crash logs, billing records, and other provider-side operational or security data may be retained for shorter or longer periods depending on the relevant provider's role, retention rules, and legal obligations.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. These measures include using service providers that support secure transmission, using device-level secure storage for app-lock credentials and biometric preferences, and limiting access to support-related information to what is reasonably necessary. No system can guarantee absolute security.
The app gives You an in-app deletion path through Settings > Delete Account. In the current version of the app, this action removes locally stored reports, source files, health-profile data, reminder settings, and app-lock data from the device.
Because the app also relies on third-party providers such as Google Cloud / Firebase, RevenueCat, and Apple, some provider-side account, billing, diagnostics, or security records may continue to be retained under those providers' own legal obligations or operational retention rules.
Depending on the law that applies to You, You may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, objection to, or portability of personal data that We control. Where We rely on consent, You may withdraw that consent at any time, although this will not affect processing that already took place before the withdrawal.

VitalScope is intended only for adults aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data through the app from children or minors under 18.
